Film Opening Analysis of Pearl Harbor

3 comments:

  1. Good job - all key areas covered although not all of CMINTS as you suggest in the intro

Examples well used in most places. A few more would help. You may want to say why you think it's an effective film opening too.

Actors - what other films have they been in if you think they're good for this genre? and why else do you think they're good for these genres (big, athletic, young, attractive to most women, etc.)

You keep saying IIWW rather than WWII...?!

Camera shots - some stills would be nice to support - perhaps bury them in the text and zoom in on them? Always a nice touch

Enigma - never start a sentence off with 'there isn't much...'. Just say what there is and what purpose it serves (i.e. to keep the audience intrigued and wanting more)

    B+
